They all bring their own expertise, experence and "Look what I just found" attitude that makes it a pleasure to be around them.


William "Bill" Cook has over 15 years experience in Criminal Justice and relative fields. As the Owner and Operator or Virginia Private Eye.com
He also oversees the daily operations Of Cook and Son's Private Investigations.
He is a registered and insured Private Investigator and holds a VA Compliance Agent certification.

    • Robert(Bob) Stoneman, Son-in-law,
      Bob brings over sixteen (16) years experience from the Caroline and Hanover County Sheriff's Dept. of Virginia.
      Bob has experience and expertise in Criminal Investigation, Accidence Investigations, Hit and Run Investigations, Evidence Gathering and handling, Interrogation and interviewing witness, PLUS Domestic Violence Investigations.

    • Chad
      attended Goochland schools and has run a business for the past two (2) Years,
      before deciding Private Investigations were for him.
      He brings a young fresh look to the Agency, he is very patient and is always looking for that better shot and will sit for hours,
      if that is what the Client wants. Chad likes to think out side the box and is not afraid to ask questions.
      He fits right in with the under thirty (30) Bar crowd.

    • James ,
      currently lives in Va. Beach,although he grew up in the Richmond area. James is a former Police Officer and former Blackwater Security Consulting Operator. James has conducted surveillance and counter-surveillance in high-threat(wartime) environments, as well as the law enforcement arena. James can also provide helicopter aerial reconnaissance/surveillance, if needed. I believe James could pull an 24hr. Silent Surveillance without a problem.

    • ERIK COOK, SON
      ERIK attended Hanover Schools and owns his own very successful Landscaping and Design Business
      that he has built up over the last four (4) years. He is very much into the details of things and is great at planning surveillance technics.
      He gives me a hand when needed and is always ready to help others.

    Bill has over eighteen (18) years of investigatory related experience; eight years as a private investigator and over ten years in corporate related investigations. As a private investigator, Bill has worked for several companies and for the last for (4) years has owned his own successful Business. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force and Virginia Air National Guard; He is a registered and insured Private Investigator and holds a VA Compliance Agent certification. Bill is well know and established in the field. I have the upmost confidence to place any case, Big or small in his capable hands. I have found him to be extermly honest, and hard working and most of all, he Gives more then is required. For the last for (4) years Bill has owned and operated his own successful business.
